Every child deserves a strong start—yet in Uganda, 55% of children under five live in poverty, and only 14% access pre-primary education. At Tutoto Centre of Hope, we bridge this gap with quality daycare, women’s training, and community advocacy to break poverty’s cycle at its roots. Join us as we make an impactful future for Africa...
At Tutoto Centre of Hope, we craft each day to spark joy, growth, and discovery. Our research-backed routine balances active learning, play, and wellbeing—because thriving children need all three. Here's how we turn ordinary moments into extraordinary development:
Interactive literacy, numeracy, and creative expression activities
Guided and free play to build motor skills and teamwork
Balanced, nourishing meals to fuel growing bodies and minds
Quiet time to process learning and restore energy
Arts, crafts, and storytelling to ignite imagination
Group sharing to celebrate the day's discoveries
Tutoto’s model targets Uganda’s critical early childhood gap – where children under 3 (85% brain development window) are often left in unsafe, unregulated daycares while mothers work. We provide stimulating care, proper nutrition, and trained caregivers to prevent stunting and unlock potential. Unlike systems focused only on older kids, we intervene when brains develop fastest – because where a child is born shouldn’t limit their future
Tutoto Centre of Hope is a registered non-profit organization in Uganda that envisions a world where children thrive free from poverty.
